HISTORY

Team Henry Enterprises, LLC (THEL) is a multi-discipline contracting firm, specializing in construction management, environmental, marine and emergency response services.

THEL is headquartered in Newport News, VA, with satellite offices in Raleigh, NC, Richmond, VA, and Miami, FL. The company was certified by the SBA as a HubZone concern in 2007 and as a participant in the coveted 8(a) business development program in 2009. Additionally Team Henry is a USDOT certified DBE contractor in VA, MD, NC, SC, FL and KY and holds a Class A contractor's license.

Although THEL seems to be relatively new company, its roots actually date back over 25 years in the industry. In 2006, THEL purchased The Silty Lady, a small business that was formed in 1986. Since taking over the company in 2006, Team Henry has completed projects for Federal, State and private clients in several states. Team Henry has completed projects with the USACE, TSA, USDOT, Navy and several private companies. Projects have included road building, wetland mitigation, debris removal, demolition, bulkhead and pier repair, and renovations.

In 2007 Team Henry expanded its operations and capabilities by opening its North Carolina office in Raleigh, North Carolina. The opening of this office enabled Team Henry to offer more environmental services to their clients.

In 2009, Team Henry again expanded its resources and capabilities again with the establishment of its Midwest Division located in Louisville, KY and expanded its capabilities and experience in environmental, disaster response and construction services.

2010 saw Team Henry diversify its service base to include Marine Services with the award of the NAVFAC contract to Supply One or More Floating Cranes, Vibratory Extractor, Pile Driver and Operator to assist the NAVFAC Wharf Builders Division in the maintenance, repair and reconstruction of damaged mooring facilities for the Sixth Atlantic Fleet.
